Peonies Boutique Weddings is a full service wedding studio, who will assist you from start to finish in planning everything aesthetic for your big day. The studio is home to the Hunter Valley's leading wedding design and planning team. Founder, Darlene has had a rich career for twenty years in the wedding industry. She originally owned and operated successful floral design studios before opening Peonies doors in 2007. Since then she has captured the Hunter Valley wedding market with her floral design finesse. She was joined in 2010 by daughter Brooke, who brought her experience in the design industry to the party. They have successfully combined their skills to create the most cohesive yet unique wedding design combination in the region.
They are industry professionals in creating luxurious floral designs, styling stunning spaces, designing bespoke stationery, sourcing prestigious props and assisting you with practical planning advice. They are supported by their talented team of floral designers, stylists, light designers and craftsmen. Each member of the team has a key role and brings something different to each and every wedding. LUXURIOUS FLORALS
Peonies from Peru. Tulips from the Netherlands. Roses from Columbia. Our produce is premium quality and is sourced from a wide range of local and international growers. With over 25 years experience, we specialise in luxurious floral design using delicate blooms and textured botanicals. We pride ourselves on our sophisticated use of space, colour, balance and rhythm to create harmonious aesthetics in all of our floral designs.

At Peonies, we pride ourselves on our ability to create a cohesive design from start to finish with all elements of your wedding. We curate our weddings with key design elements and pantone colour matching to ensure all elements work with intrinsic detail. We handsource or handmake all items to ensure premium quality and stylistic design. Most importantly, we work hand in hand with you to create a wedding that distinctively represents you as a couple.
bespoke STATIONERY
Our print studio specialises in creating bespoke stationery suites using rich textures, colour tones and hand sourced premium quality products from all over the globe. As part of our design approach, we ensure continuity of design from the invitations as the first impression of the wedding through the wedding day florals, styling and design. Designing the invitation suite in perfect fusion with the wedding design is the perfect way to WOW your guests.

the design process
You can complete a wedding planner form below in our contact section. By submitting your completed wedding planner and including as much information as possible, the Peonies team will then prepare an estimate to give you an idea of what to expect and confirm availability for your wedding date. From this point if you are happy to proceed, a minimal deposit is required to confirm your booking with the remaining balance due in 2 instalments. Three months out then one month prior to the big day.
Whilst the portfolio may be used for inspiration, the Peonies team like to approach each wedding on an individual basis. Design Consultations will be scheduled once your booking is confirmed. During this consultation, we will guide you through the entire design process and changes to your initial estimate will be made accordingly. Changes to your booking can be made up to one month prior to the big day. In the circumstances that you are unable to attend consultation, we offer a range of options such as FaceTime Consultations, Phone and Email.

As a full service wedding studio, the Peonies team will tailor an individual design to suit each couple according to their personalised style. All of our products and services are hand-crafted or hand-sourced with your wedding in mind. For the most cohesive results, we recommend booking our full service option to ensure that each and every item works seamlessly throughout the wedding. Peak wedding seasons are February to June and August to December, availability within these months is often limited due to high demand.
